Learn how to sell digital products in Zenler: PDFs, templates, AI prompt packs, toolkits, mini-courses, bundles. Setup, pricing, funnels & automation.

Digital products are the fastest way for creators to make money online.

Why?
✔ No shipping
✔ No inventory
✔ Easy to create
✔ Instant delivery
✔ High margins
✔ Perfect for funnels

And here's the thing most creators miss: you've probably already got the content. Slide decks from webinars, resources you've built for clients, templates you use yourself — all of it can be repurposed, packaged, and sold.

As a creator, that's what we're trying to do all the time. Repurpose. Buy back time. Zenler makes it very easy to do.

Zenler handles the whole thing in one place:
✔ Product creation
✔ File delivery
✔ Checkout
✔ Order bumps and upsells
✔ Cart abandonment recovery
✔ Email automation
✔ Funnels

No extra tools needed.

Let's build your first digital product.

🎥 ▶️ How to Sell Digital Products in Zenler (Fastest Way to Make Money Online)

⭐ Step 1 — Choose What Digital Product You Want to Sell

As long as you can zip the file up, you can put it into Zenler and sell it as a digital product.

Zenler supports:
✔ PDF guides and workbooks
✔ Canva templates
✔ AI prompt packs
✔ Scripts and swipe files
✔ Toolkits and resource packs
✔ Checklists
✔ Notion templates

Think about what you've already created. Slide decks from webinars, guides you've built for clients, templates from your own workflow — you've already done the work. Package it, price it, and sell it.

A good starter digital product doesn't need to be expensive. Think of it as a loss leader. Price it low — even at $5 or $9 — and get it out there.

It doesn't matter if it doesn't sell straight away. You've got a product on there that someone's going to invest in, and you've already done the work.

⭐ Step 2 — Create Your Digital Product Container

In Zenler, digital products are delivered using a course shell.

Go to: 👉 Site → Courses → Create New

Set up the course specifically for digital downloads — no video lessons required, just the file. Give it:
✔ A clear product name
✔ A description explaining what's included and who it's for
✔ A thumbnail
✔ A clean URL

And here's a powerful time-saving tip: clone a course

Once you've got one digital product set up, you can clone that course, change the words, add the new digital download — and you've got a new product in around 15 minutes. You've already done the hard work once. Just reset and resell.

⭐ Step 3 — Add Your Digital File

Inside your product: 👉 Add Lesson

Upload your file — PDF, ZIP, Canva share link, scripts, templates, or any file that can be zipped and shared. You can add multiple files to create a content bundle inside one product shell.

One important note on PDFs: if you want your buyer to be able to download or print the file, upload it as a download type rather than a PDF embed.

Uploading as a PDF displays it inline but doesn't allow the student to save it — so for digital products, the download type is usually the right choice.

⭐ Step 4 — Set Up Instant Delivery

Digital products should be available immediately after purchase. Inside your pricing settings, make sure access is set to instant so buyers can get to their files right away — no waiting, no friction.

⭐ Step 5 — Price Your Digital Product

Go to: 👉 Pricing → Add Pricing

Choose a one-time price. Here are some realistic starting ranges used by Zenler creators:

  • Template packs: £7–£29
  • Prompt packs: £9–£39
  • Toolkits: £19–£59
  • Mini-courses / workshops: £19–£49

You can also add:
✔ Coupons — for early bird offers or promotional windows
✔ Order bumps — add-ons shown at checkout
✔ Upsells — offers shown after purchase

⭐ Step 6 — Add an Order Bump

An order bump sits on your checkout page and lets buyers add something extra with a single click before they complete payment.

Examples:

  • Add a bonus template pack
  • Add an advanced toolkit
  • Add a complementary resource

Order bumps increase average order value without friction — the buyer is already committed.

⭐ Step 7 — Add an Upsell

An upsell comes in after the checkout is complete.

The buyer has just purchased — now you offer them something more. It's a natural "do you want this as well?" moment. This is a really effective way to get people to buy into something else at the same time without any extra marketing effort.

⭐ Step 8 — Set Up a Cart Abandonment Email

If someone starts the checkout process and stops halfway, Zenler can automatically send a cart abandonment email to bring them back.

This is a built-in backup for your business. The email goes out saying "look, you're missing out on this — what stopped you?" It's one of the most overlooked revenue recovery tools available, and it's built right into Zenler.

⭐ Step 9 — Automate Delivery

Inside: 👉 Marketing → Automations

Set the trigger: when a user purchases the digital product.

Then add actions:
✔ Send delivery email with the link to the product
✔ Start a follow-up email sequence
✔ Tag the buyer to segment them for future offers

Once it's set up it runs itself — zero manual work every time someone buys.

⭐ Step 10 — Add a Digital Product Funnel

You can use a marketing funnel to bring people in and then send them to your digital product.

How it works:

  • Someone opts in through a lead magnet funnel
  • On the thank-you page, they're offered the digital product — free if you want to use it as a lead magnet, or paid if you're selling it through a course checkout
  • From there your email sequence takes over

A lead magnet funnel becomes a sales funnel the moment you add a tripwire, an order bump, or an upsell. Zenler includes all three. Think about what you want on paper first — then it's easy to build inside Zenler.

Inside: 👉 Marketing → Funnels → Create Funnel

Start with a Lead Magnet Funnel if you're new to funnels. It creates an opt-in page and a thank-you page. You can then add extra steps to connect it to your digital product or checkout.

Each funnel shows opt-in rates, conversion rates, page views, and email engagement — so you can see what's working straight away.

⭐ Step 11 — Bundle Digital Products

You can bundle multiple products together into a single offer — templates, prompt packs, toolkits, workbooks — and sell them as a package at a higher price point. Bundles create more perceived value and are an easy way to increase your average transaction without creating anything new.
